Danielle is male to female transgender, she has been transitioning

for over six years. I recently spent a lot of time with Danielle, mostly

just hanging around her house and talking, here are a couple of my

favorite singles, I will hopefully have the multimedia piece up here soon.

Halloween

Ohio University is known for throwing a massive Halloween block party every year. Each year hundreds of kids are arrested and mayhem ensues, so I've never brought my camera out in the past fearing it would get destroyed in this alcohol fueled extravaganza. This year I am a little older and a little wiser and in honor of this being my last year here to witness this event I decided to go out and have some fun with my camera.

tattoo parlor where people dangled from these hooks.

I don't know if I've ever seen some one as drunk as this kid.

We stood him up trying to help him out. I looked away for

one second and when I looked back he had his penis in his

hands just standing there blank faced on the main street in

front of everyone. (notice the drool hanging out of his mouth?)

Skatopia

Brewce Martin is the owner and creator of Skatopia, which is a skate park on a surface level but feels more like an anarchist compound. Brewce built the place on old farm land and it never stops expanding and growing. There are two separate indoor bowls and and outdoor park as well as museum. Skatopia has an open door policy and people come and go at their own will staying for just one night of weeks at a time. Although the place has many semi permanent residents it is the parties they throw that really draw people out of the wood work.
